SENIOR OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Operations Supervisor who will lead and oversee logistics operations to ensure efficient execution, service excellence, and operational performance.
The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in freight forwarding and logistics operations, including FCL, LCL, FTL, LTL, and warehouse management, with proven experience in managing people, improving processes, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise daily logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
- Manage and optimize FCL, LCL, FTL, and LTL operations from planning to delivery.
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and operational procedures.
- Monitor operational performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to operations teams.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and workforce utilization.
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues affecting customers and business continuity.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Prepare operational reports and performance updates for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, BS Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, documentation, and customer requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
