Production technician

Job Description

The Production Technician is responsible for executing technical operations in milling, precision grinding, tool fabrication, and engineering operations. The position directly operates machines, provides production support, contributes to workflow improvement, and coordinates with technical teams to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.

• Perform milling, fine grinding, and tool fabrication activities according to specifications.
• Set up, operate, and monitor core removal machines and other production equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-floor support to production personnel.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to maintain operational efficiency.
• Monitor production quality and ensure compliance with company operational and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot machine, technical, and production-related issues on the floor.
• Support engineering project operations and process improvement activities.
• Prepare technical reports and assist management in operational coordination.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, engineering support, or technical operations.
• Strong knowledge of milling, precision grinding, tool fabrication, and machine operations.
• Practical experience in engineering project support and production coordination.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to speak Chinese and communicate in basic English for coordination with Chinese management and local employees.
• Experience in optics, manufacturing, or an industrial production environment is an advantage.
