Company Driver - Food Industry

The Company Driver shall be responsible with all transport-related duties such as dropping and picking up employees, collecting various packages and maintaining a travel log to record work hours, travel-time and locations travelled to. In order for the company driver to perform this core responsibility he/she shall ensure that the assigned vehicle/equipment is maintained at its optimum condition bearing in mind safety at all times.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Transports employee safely from a specified locations in a timely manner.
2. Assists in loading and offloading employee luggage, products and materials.
3. Adjusts travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
4. Informs company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
5. Ensures that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking to avoid towing.
6. Keeps the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning, and vehicle maintenance.
7. Provides accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
8. Reports any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
9. Performs other duties and responsibilities as maybe assigned or for job development.
