A Lifestyle Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing social, recreational, and wellness programs to enhance the quality of life for community residents (such as in senior living communities, resorts, or residential developments).They coordinate events, activities, and excursions, manage recreational staff or volunteers, and ensure programs meet residents’ interests and needs. The role also involves building relationships with residents, promoting engagement, managing budgets for lifestyle programs, and collaborating with other departments to create a vibrant, inclusive, and enjoyable living environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Psychology, recreation management, event planning, or related field (preferred).
Experience in event planning, recreation, hospitality, or community management.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to lead programs, supervise staff/volunteers, and manage budgets.
Creativity, flexibility, and passion for creating engaging resident experience
