About the Job:
Join us as a Financial Reporting Analyst, where you’ll dive into financial data to uncover trends and deliver key insights. You’ll prepare accurate reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. What You'll Do:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify performance trends, risks, and growth opportunities, delivering insights that support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare accurate, timely financial reports and statements, including month-end and year-end closings, ensuring alignment with internal policies, GAAP, and relevant regulatory standards.
- Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and integrity, supporting both internal and external audits through thorough documentation and compliance tracking.
- Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, internal controls, and evolving industry best practices, while contributing to risk mitigation and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead and perform detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve variances, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional finance and accounting teams to maintain transparency, consistency, and audit-readiness across reporting functions.
- Act as a liaison between finance and key stakeholders—vendors, clients, internal departments—to address and resolve financial discrepancies and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Support the development and enhancement of financial processes, reporting tools, and systems to drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, contributing to the development of short- and long-term financial plans aligned with strategic business goals.
- Participate in cross-departmental projects and initiatives to improve workflow integration, automate routine tasks, and enhance the overall financial reporting process.
What You'll Bring:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with 2–3 years of practical experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and analytical tools, with working knowledge of QuickBooks, ERP platforms, and other accounting systems.
- Highly detail-oriented and committed to accuracy, ensuring all financial reports and records are reliable and fully compliant with relevant regulations.
- Capable of preparing clear, well-structured financial reports and explaining the methodology behind the numbers when needed, supporting transparency and informed decision-making.
- Very communicative and collaborative, able to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and maintain strong relationships.
- Operates independently with minimal supervision; needs little guidance to complete tasks efficiently and accurately—especially in time-sensitive processes like month-end reporting and payment tracking.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills, balancing competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
- A problem-solver by nature, skilled at identifying financial issues and implementing practical, results-driven solutions.
- Displays a high level of professionalism and integrity, committed to confidentiality and ethical standards in all financial matters.
- Flexible and eager to improve; embraces new tools, technologies, and process enhancements to support continuous improvement in financial operations.
