Physician

This role serves as the primary medical physician for daily PhilHealth Yakap and PhilGamot caravans, delivering direct primary care and ensuring efficient mobile clinical operations. The position focuses on conducting consultations, managing patient cases, ensuring regulatory and compliance, and completing necessary PhilHealth documentation for enrollment and claims processing.

• Caravan Operations & Field Deployment: Acts as the primary medical physician for the daily PhilHealth Yakap and PhilGamot caravans, ensuring efficient on-site clinical workflows and maintaining the integrity of mobile medical operations.
• Medical Consultations & Primary Care: Conducts routine physical examinations, diagnoses acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribes appropriate treatments or medications, and provides expert health counseling to patients during everyday caravan deployments.
• PhilHealth Compliance & Documentation: Reviews and accomplishes all necessary medical forms, electronic health records, and required clinical data for PhilHealth Yakap and PhilGamot enrollment and claims processing in strict compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Patient Case Management & Referrals: Monitors patient health outcomes, manages continuous treatment cycles, and evaluates and facilitates timely referrals to tertiary hospitals or specialized facilities for high-risk or complex cases.
• Clinical Administration: Maintains accurate, highly confidential patient medical records (electronic or physical charts) and ensures strict compliance with Department of Health (DOH) and Philippine medical practice standards.
• Performs any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from an accredited medical school, with a valid and active license to practice medicine in the Philippines issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Experience: 1–2 years of active clinical experience in general practice, community medicine, or primary healthcare settings; prior experience handling mobile medical missions or PhilHealth-accredited programs is highly preferred.
• Key Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of primary healthcare protocols and PhilHealth policies, excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills, high confidentiality (Data Privacy Act compliance), and the physical stamina to handle daily field/caravan travel.
