Role Summary

This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to cybersecurity.

• Lead and resolve complex IT security-related issues involving:
• Email security and phishing prevention
• Active Directory and Group Policy management
• Firewall configuration and rule enforcement
• Cloud services security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Multi-factor authentication (MFA) deployment and monitoring
• Design and implement security-focused projects and initiatives
• Conduct cybersecurity audits and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Perform threat detection, analysis, and incident response
• Configure and manage encryption technologies
• Oversee endpoint protection for laptops, servers, and remote assets
• Maintain and optimize Security Awareness Training and Risk Assessment platforms
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of security operations
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related technical field (preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred
• Strong documentation and real-time reporting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Deep understanding of networking, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Proven experience with firewall and router configuration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with situational awareness
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Self-driven with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Willingness to pursue additional certifications as part of a structured training plan

• Must be open to a long-term remote work arrangement
• Must be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule
