About the role

LapuLapu-Cebu International College Inc. is seeking an experienced and passionate Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Faculty to join our dynamic team. As a full-time faculty member, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students in Bankal Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and laboratory sessions to undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and examinations, providing timely feedback to support their academic growth
• Participate in curriculum development and review processes to ensure course content remains relevant and up-to-date
• Conduct research and contribute to the scholarly activities of the department
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, assisting them in achieving their educational and career goals
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive learning environment and promote interdisciplinary initiatives

• A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, on going, higher or a related field, with a strong academic background
• Preferably with experience in teaching at the tertiary level, preferably in a Civil Engineering program
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the capacity to integrate theory and practice
• Proficiency in the use of teaching technologies and pedagogical approaches to enhance the learning experience
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for contributing to the growth and success of our students
