Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and invoices.
  • Enter and update financial data in databases and accounting software.
  • Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including issuing checks and recording incoming payments.
  • Maintain organized financial files and documentation.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding financial transactions.
  • Monitor office expenses and assist in cost tracking.
