Financial Compliance Officer - Manila

We're currently looking for FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports the Director of Finance and Accounting Managers in ensuring tax and financial compliance with government regulations and company policies.
• Prepares and reviews tax returns, schedules, and other BIR-required reports.
• Handles BIR Letters of Authority (LOA) and other government agency audits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
• Maintains tax monitoring files and updates the team on new government rules.
• Assists in transfer pricing studies and intercompany reconciliations.
• Reviews financial statements to ensure alignment with tax reports.
• Proposes solutions to tax issues and process improvements for better compliance and savings.
• Organizes and archives accounting records and ensures proper documentation.
• Participates in strategic planning and performance reviews.
• Helps with budgeting, financial goal setting, and audit findings.
• Coordinates with system developers for accounting module improvements.
• Liaises with internal and external stakeholders on financial compliance matters

What We are looking for:

Qualifications:

• Preferably holds an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Prior experience dealing with Letters of Authority from the BIR and other government agencies is an advantage.
• Results-driven with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and maintains a critical mindset in performing tasks.
• Capable of conducting performance evaluations and providing mentorship to team members.
• Strategic thinker with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Proactive and continuously seeks or recommends innovative approaches to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Provides support to the Director of Finance and Accounting Managers in ensuring tax and financial compliance. Handles tax filings, BIR audits (LOAs), and government reporting. Assists in financial reviews, budgeting, and documentation. Proposes process improvements, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and helps maintain accurate financial records.
