Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive Electrical Engineer to join our Project Management Office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in upgrading, developing, and ensuring the electrical and operational excellence of TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs) nationwide.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• Eligibility: Registered Electrical Engineer (RA 1080)
• Professional Experience: * At least 3 years of general/professional experience in project or construction management.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in electrical design, inspection, or project implementation.
• Training: Minimum of 40 hours of relevant technical or project management training.
• Technical Skills & Expertise:
• Proven experience in construction supervision, electrical design, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and relevant engineering software.
• Strong working knowledge of the National Building Code of the Philippines and the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a proven ability to draft high-level technical reports and documentation.

• System Design & Development: Lead the preparation, design, development, and testing of electrical devices and systems—including communication systems, power generation units, motors, and related equipment—in strict compliance with engineering standards.
• CAD & Engineering Analysis: Utilize CAD software and modern engineering tools to execute electrical load computations, technical calculations, and design layouts to support project planning and implementation.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations, operations, and system performances conform to project specifications, end-user needs, the Philippine Electrical Code, and safety standards through detailed schematics and technical drawings.
• Project Monitoring: Supervise on-site implementation, monitor contractor progress, manage quality control for electrical works, and regularly submit comprehensive technical reports to the Supervisor-in-Charge.
• Facility Inspection & Assessment: Conduct rigorous assessments, evaluations, and field inspections of ongoing construction, repair, and refurbishment projects across various TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs), focusing on electrical safety and infrastructure.
• Technical Advisory (TWG): Provide expert electrical engineering insights as an active member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the strategic planning, design, and refurbishment of new and existing facilities.
• Administrative & PMO Support: Assist the Project Manager and Unit Heads in gathering, validating, and consolidating technical data and documentary evidence for the Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR).
• Versatility: Perform other related engineering and project management functions as may be assigned by management.
