Who are we looking for:
As an Deputy Distribution Center Manager/ Assistant Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations supporting Alfamart’s growing retail network. This role ensures efficient inbound, storage, inventory management, picking, and outbound processes to enable timely and accurate store replenishment.As a key operations leader, you will drive productivity, cost efficiency, and operational discipline while managing large teams in a high-volume environment.
Job Roles:
- Leads day-to-day distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, inventory, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Manages high-volume inventory (4,000–10,000 SKUs) while ensuring inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Oversees inbound activities, stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and inventory control
- Optimizes warehouse layout and maximizes storage capacity
- Experienced in order processing and various picking methods (batch, zone, and loose picking)
- Supervises dispatch planning, delivery preparation, and store replenishment activities
- Tracks key operational metrics such as inventory accuracy, turnaround time, and delivery performance
- Utilizes Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational data to improve processes
- Leads large warehouse teams, including supervisors and frontline personnel (200+ headcount)
- Drives workforce planning, coaching, performance management, and employee development
- Ensures compliance with safety standards, company policies, and audit requirements
- Promotes operational excellence through accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork

What does it take to be part of the team?- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- At least 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in FMCG or retail distribution
- Proven experience in handling high SKU volume (4,000–10,000 SKUs)
- Experience managing large teams (200+ personnel)
- Strong background in end-to-end warehouse operations (inbound to dispatch)
- Solid experience in inventory management, picking operations, and store replenishment
- Exposure to route planning and multi-store distribution is an advantage
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and data-driven reporting
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
