The Delivery / Company Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of company products, documents, and personnel. This role ensures proper handling of deliveries, accurate documentation, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with traffic and safety regulations while supporting daily business operations.
Qualifications/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver products, documents, and other company items to assigned locations on time
- Transport company personnel as required
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules efficiently
- Load, unload, and ensure proper handling of products during transport
- Verify delivery details and obtain necessary signatures or acknowledgments
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and fuel monitoring reports
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair requirements
- Ensure cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle
- Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
- Assist with other logistics and operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least High School or Senior High School graduate
- Valid Professional Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a company driver, delivery driver, or similar role is an advantage
- Familiar with local routes, road networks, and traffic regulations
- Capable of loading and unloading items when necessary
- Responsible, trustworthy, and punctual
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willing to render overtime and travel when required
- Knowledge of basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance is an advantage
