The Production Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment on the manufacturing floor to produce high-quality products efficiently. This role includes monitoring processes, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to safety and quality standards to meet production goals.

Operate Production Equipment
Operate assigned machinery or equipment safely and efficiently according to work instructions

Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Ensure compliance with production process flows, quality standards, and safety guidelines

Inspect and Assemble Products
Perform basic inspection, assembly, or packaging of products

Check for defects and report any non-conformance to the line leader or quality personnel

Maintain Clean Work Area
Keep workstations clean, organized, and free from hazards

Follow 6S practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)

Meet Daily Production Targets
Achieve assigned output quotas or targets while maintaining quality

Notify supervisor of any delays, issues, or equipment problems

Record Production Data

Accurately complete production logs, time sheets, or monitoring forms as required

Assist in Line Activities

Support other operators or processes as needed (e.g., material loading, packing, labeling)

Comply with Safety and Company Policies
Wear required PPE and follow all health and safety rules

Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately

Qualifications/Requirements

Education:  At least high school graduate or vocational certificate holder

Additional training in production or machine operation is a plus

Experience: With or without experience; prior experience in manufacturing or production line work is preferred

Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of machine operation and quality checking

Ability to follow instructions, work manuals, and SOPs

Familiarity with tools or gauges (if applicable)
