About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and overall appeal of our facilities.

As a Housekeeping team member, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation, directly contributing to guest satisfaction and the reputation of our establishment. This role is essential to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all who visit our premises.

Key responsibilities
  1. Perform thorough cleaning and sanitisation of all guest rooms, common areas, and facilities in accordance with established protocols and health and safety standards
  2. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of assigned areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, corridors and public spaces
  3. Dust, sweep, mop and vacuum all designated areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and materials
  4. Change bed linens, replace towels and restock guest amenities in a timely and efficient manner
  5. Report any maintenance issues, damage or safety hazards to management immediately
  6. Collect and dispose of waste and recyclable materials according to company policies
  7. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify supervisors when supplies require replenishment
  8. Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure all work is completed to the highest standard
  9. Follow all health, safety and environmental regulations relevant to housekeeping operations
  10. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient completion of daily tasks
What we're looking for
  1. Proven experience in housekeeping or similar cleaning roles within the hospitality or tourism industry
  2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  3. Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes
  4. Physical capability to perform demanding cleaning duties, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
  5. Knowledge of proper use and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment, with understanding of health and safety protocols
  6. Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  7. Professional and courteous demeanour with strong interpersonal skills
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  9. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings or weekends if required
  10. Valid identification and ability to comply with company policies and procedures
  11. Relevant cleaning certifications or prior housekeeping training are advantageous
