What you'll be doing- Designing and developing innovative electrical systems and components to meet the company's requirements and industry standards
- Conducting thorough analyses and evaluations of existing electrical systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, product designers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the Electrical/Electronic Engineering industry
- Providing technical support and training to other team members, as needed
- Documenting and reporting on project progress, testing results, and technical specifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a similar role or industry
- Proficient in the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiar with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Proficient in the use of electrical engineering software and design tools
