The Opportunity
Join a dynamic and forward-thinking tech group shaping the future of cloud communications! Our partner, a leading provider of enterprise voice, messaging, and platform services, is hiring for two (2) Software Engineers to join their growing Manila team on a 12-month contract.
In this role, you will work closely with the Lead Software Engineer and other teammates to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the company’s ITSM system, built on a particular platform. You’ll contribute to building workflow solutions that improve internal operations, integrate key systems, and drive automation and self-service capabilities across the business.
ASW Global operates on a Hybrid model. You will be reporting to our ASW office in BGC, Taguig 2x a week, and working from home for the remaining 3 days. The role follows Australian business hours, with a regular shift schedule of 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Manila time.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy stable, secure, and efficient ITSM workflow solutions using the Servicely platform.
- Proactively monitor application performance, resolve issues swiftly, and ensure minimal disruption to users.
- Deliver features that align with target state goals while ensuring code and workflows are left in a better state than found.
- Ensure solutions are well-tested, secure, and deployed to production with minimal impact.
- Collaborate with team members, share knowledge openly, and escalate issues or risks when appropriate.
- Support the Lead Software Engineer in maintaining and enhancing platforms with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices and recommend future system enhancements.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to broader sustainability and efficiency goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related program.
- At least 4 years' proven experience in JavaScript (NodeJS, Native/Vanilla).
- Proven experience in HTML, CSS, and general frontend development.
- Skilled in building and integrating APIs, messaging queues, and databases.
- Experience with ERP and ITSM platforms.
- Comfortable using and administering Linux operating systems.
- Knowledgeable in web and information security best practices and tools.
- Experience with application logging, metrics, and tracing implementation and analysis.
- Proficient with webhooks, JSON, and XML.
- Exposure to Python and GoLang.
