Job Title: Training Supervisor

Reports to: HR/OD Head or Corporate HR Director

Job Description:
The Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the training and competency management programs across the diverse business units of the World Citi Groups conglomerate (including education, healthcare, aviation, leisure, and other affiliated sectors).

The role ensures that all employees are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviors to perform effectively and align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and implement training programs that address organizational and departmental needs.
  • Supervise the execution of competency-based training needs analyses (CBTNA) and monitor competency alignment across all business units.
  • Coordinate with HR Officers, department heads, and business unit leaders to identify training gaps and align interventions with strategic goals.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of learning solutions, including classroom training, e-learning, workshops, and coaching/mentoring initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement through feedback, post-training assessments, and performance tracking.
  • Maintain updated training records, competency matrices, and compliance certifications (e.g., DOLE, OSH, PQA, ISO requirements).
  • Lead and mentor training staff, ensuring high-quality facilitation and delivery of programs.
  • Support succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives through structured training interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or competency management, preferably in a multi-industry or conglomerate setup.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of competency frameworks, Balanced Scorecard, and organizational development practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., DOLE, OSH, ISO, Data Privacy, PQA),
