ELECTRICIAN

About the role

Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering high-quality electrical work that meets industry standards and client expectations.

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
2. Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot issues using appropriate testing equipment and tools
3. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to complete work accurately
4. Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards
5. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
6. Test electrical installations to verify functionality and safety before handover to clients
7. Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate work on multi-disciplinary projects
8. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used on each assignment
9. Adhere to health and safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment on all job sites

1. Completed vocational training or apprenticeship in electrical work or equivalent practical experience
2. Valid electrical trade certification or license as required by local regulations
3. Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience as an Electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial environments
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical drawings
5. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
6. Competence with electrical tools and testing equipment (multimeters, voltage testers, circuit analysers, etc.)
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
8. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
9. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
10. Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to work
11. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the electrical trade
