Architect

Job Description:

The Architect will be assigned in the planning, design and coordination of architectural works for clinic and healthcare facilities. The role involves preparing complete drawings and ensuring designs comply with Philippine codes, healthcare standards, and client requirements.

This position is ideal for a licensed architect who has experience in healthcare projects such as clinics, diagnostic centers, and small hospitals.

• Develop architectural designs for new clinics, expansions, and renovations.
• Prepare and sign conceptual plans, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Design patient-centered environments that enhance workflow efficiency and patient experience.
• Coordinate space planning for clinical, administrative, and support areas.

• Manage construction and renovation projects from concept through completion.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and costs.
• Review contractor work and ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, healthcare regulations, fire safety requirements, and accessibility standards.
• Coordinate permit applications and approvals with regulatory agencies.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare facility accreditation standards.

• Serve as the primary architectural liaison with external partners, consultants, healthcare providers, landlords, vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with strategic partners to ensure facility design and construction requirements are aligned with operational and business objectives.
• Facilitate meetings, presentations, and project updates with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review partner requirements and integrate them into architectural plans and project deliverables.
• Manage communication and collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely resolution of design and construction issues.
• Support partnership initiatives involving clinic expansion, facility upgrades, and new healthcare service locations.
• Negotiate and coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and technical requirements with external partners and consultants.
• Maintain positive working relationships with partners to ensure successful project execution and long-term collaboration.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, administrators, engineers, and contractors.
• Conduct meetings with clinic leadership to determine facility requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers.

• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents for accuracy.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction quality.
• Identify and resolve design and construction issues.

• Prepare project cost estimates.
• Evaluate contractor bids and recommendations.
• Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures.
• Handle Bill of Quantity

• Support long-term facility master planning.
• Recommend facility improvements and modernization initiatives.
• Assess future space and infrastructure needs
