MIS Sr. Analyst

The MIS Reporting Analyst or Sr. Analyst will be responsible for generating, analyzing, and presenting operational and business reports to support leadership decision-making. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, expertise in reporting tools, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

• Develop, maintain, and automate daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports and dashboards.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances, and operational performance metrics.
• Create management-level presentations summarizing key findings and insights.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by senior leadership.
• Improve reporting efficiency by enhancing data collection, structuring, and automation processes.
• Validate data sources, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure high-quality output.
• Maintain documentation of reporting processes and data definitions.

• Strong knowledge of Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros preferred).
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau (optional but advantageous).
• Proficiency in SQL or basic database querying (good to have).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and maintain high accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Prior experience in MIS reporting, analytics, operations reporting, or data management roles.
• Exposure to automation tools or scripting (Python/VBA) is an added advantage.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
