Production Planning & Inventory Control Specialist
The Production Planner is responsible for detailed daily production planning of Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Finished Goods for Red Ribbon and other business unit products manufactured on-site, as well as daily supply planning and replenishment of Red Ribbon Traded products from tollers.This includes generating short-term production and supply plans based on long-term plans and demand forecasts, creating daily production plans based on store orders and stock transfer orders, and ensuring site readiness for peak periods, such as Red-Letter Days and new product launches, by aligning production plans with forecasted volumes and initiative plans.
Job Description:
- Creation of Process Order based on Store Order (SO)
- Monitors the consumption of production materials and yield achieved.
- Creates Raw Material procurement plans based on Finished Goods forecast by calculating production material requirements according to the safety stock and maximum set level declared to the Site Logistics.
- Create and recommend production work orders (monthly & weekly)
- Reconciles and aligns with Manufacturing group regarding weekly output.
- Computes, reviews, recommends, and maintains buffer levels of Raw materials considering Site Warehouse Capacity;
- Determines, reviews, recommends, and revises Safety/Target Quantity levels of Raw Materials considering Site Warehouse capacity;
- Ensures periodic evaluation of inventory levels and regular aging assessment of Raw materials depending on finished goods movement and space requirement of the site
- Graduate of any 4-year Business Course, but preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
- At least 2-years experience in production planning and inventory control in a manufacturing or food manufacturing plant.
- Advanced Excel / ERP / SAP and other Microsoft applications.
- Good command of both English and Tagalog. Can communicate well with other divisions, departments, and suppliers.
- Willing to be assigned in DAnao, Cebu on a Hybrid work Setup.
