The Role
This new position is responsible for design, development, optimisation, and maintenance of data infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring high quality data is accessible for analytics, business intelligence and software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that support data-driven decision making, optimise performance and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Working alongside a dynamic team of IT engineers, your primary focus will require you to develop data pipelines frontend/backend architecture and datasets along with gathering stakeholder requirements, and documentation. You will also work with the team to pilot and productionise AI and machine-learning capabilities aligned with business value and ethical AI standards.
The successful applicant will work closely with the lead developers and teams, in conjunction with several stakeholders across the business to ensure that data and AI projects meet requirements and are delivered with exceptional quality within the agreed timeframe.
- Design, develop and improve new/existing data and AI solutions across a wide range of Fintech/Lending/Private Credit projects.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the data development and support process.
- Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders.
- Manage data from multiple sources and consumption through internal/third-party APIs.
- Integrate, configure, prompt and maintain LLMs and ML models for new AI requirements
- Maintain a high standard of coding, documentation, and participate in data quality review.
- Assist stakeholders with intricate data analysis and reporting.
- Enable the business to improve response times, enhance data processing, support advanced analytics and maintain data integrity.
- Degree qualified in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, etc.
- Hands on experience with Data Pipelines; CI/CD; AWS; Azure; GCP.
- Hands on experience integrating, configuring and prompt engineering LLMs
- Hands on experience developing data science and ML experiments and solutions
- Good understanding of Fabric architecture (or similar).
- Firm grasp of SQL and Python.
- Experience in data modelling and designing data lakehouses.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- Strong understanding of ETL, ELT and Microsoft Fabric.
- Understanding of designing and working with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
- Good understanding of working with version control (git), JIRA, and Confluence in a team environment.
