Research and Development Associate

Duties & Responsibilities:

Receives and attends to requests for raw materials or process development from the management, purchasing department, immediate superior and/or other internal department.

Keep Internal Development tracker updated.

Initiate the JO no. creation process of the R&D Development by preparing the JO

Request, coordinating with the signatories and JO Maker.

Review and coordinate the JO Specs with the JO Maker and signatories for the final steps of JO no. creation.

Coordinate with purchasing, the management, R&D members and other internal department for the proper and timely execution of the R&D Development.

Conducts onsite inspection and coordination with the operations regarding the actual production of R&D internal and client requested developments.

Ensures that R&D Jobs are being produced in accordance with quality and food safety, management, statutory and/or client requirements.

Liaise with internal departments for the timely execution of the client requests and internal developments.

Ensure compliance with quality, food safety and client requirements of new R&D developments.

Reports update on Internal Development tracker when required.

Perform other tasks being assigned by the immediate superior or management in relation to the job role.

Qualifications:

Analytical and results driven person

Ability to comprehend and perform complex tasks.

Can work under minimal supervision.

Attentive to deadlines or expected completion date of every received tasks

With good attitude towards work and colleagues

Willing to undergo training and driven to achieve excellence

Knowledgeable with Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel and Power point.

Graduate of Bachelor in Food Technology related to the company's business profile.
