Head of Ocean Product
Manila
Own the ocean product's financials: steer revenue, gross margin, cost discipline, and productivity to meet country targets; use dashboards and forecasts to spot gaps and course‑correct early.
- Shape the carrier strategy: design and execute sourcing and allocation plans, negotiate with core lines to secure space and service levels, and ensure contracts are put to work, not just filed.
- Set the pricing playbook: govern spot and tender pricing, raise win‑rates without diluting yield, and ensure proposals can be operationalized at agreed cost and service.
- Be the escalation anchor: step in on complex bids, strategic customers, and cross‑trade solutions to remove blockers and land executable commitments.
- Uplift operations and compliance: hard‑wire SOP adherence, data accuracy, and service reliability across export, import, and cross‑trade; keep the product audit‑ready and risk‑aware.
- Continuously improve: streamline processes, upgrade tools, and tighten handoffs between sales, pricing, ops, customer service, and finance to lift speed and quality.
- Build a high‑performing team: clarify roles and goals, coach for outcomes, plan succession, and cultivate a collaborative, accountable culture across procurement, pricing, trade, and ops.
- Lead in the matrix: represent the country with regional/global ocean leadership, feed local market intelligence into product roadmaps, and deploy global standards locally.
