Job Description
The Operations Assistant (Branch Receptionist) assigned is responsible for supporting daily business operations of Uncle Ben Barbershop while ensuring company compliance policies. This role assists in employee attendance monitoring (barbers), inventory management inside the barbershop, financial reporting, and operational process efficiency.The Operations Assistant also acts as the key liaison between the branch and the head office to ensure all financial and HR compliance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:The Operations Assistant supports daily branch operations, ensuring excellent customer service, HR and financial compliance, and process efficiency. Key duties include:
- Managing front desk operations, client appointments, and payment processing
- Monitoring employee attendance, scheduling, and supporting HR processes
- Assisting in financial tasks such as sales reconciliation, petty cash, and expense reporting
- Overseeing inventory management, stock audits, and supplier coordination
- Ensuring store compliance with SOPs, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Supporting employee performance tracking during the probationary period
- Acting as the liaison between the branch and HR/Finance departments
- Handling general administrative support and documentation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or At least Senior High Graduate.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
