Role Overview: The Math Content Associate will play a pivotal role in developing and refining high-quality VCE and higher-level Maths materials to ensure students achieve top-tier results. This position involves designing innovative and challenging practice questions, enhancing proprietary resources, and working closely with the teaching team to support exceptional student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine VCE and higher-level Maths questions and solutions aligned with curriculum standards.
• Create innovative and challenging resources to deepen students' understanding of complex concepts.
• Ensure all materials are accurate, clear, and adhere to high academic standards.
• Collaborate with tutors to address student learning gaps through targeted content.
• Update and improve teaching materials, including notes and revision guides, based on VCAA updates and exam trends.
• Analyse past exams and performance data to identify key focus areas.
• Proofread, validate, and format solutions according to VCAA standards.
• Support students online by answering queries and providing problem-solving guidance.
• Maintain and organize a comprehensive repository of Math resources.
• Assist in developing digital learning tools like interactive quizzes and video tutorials.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• Proficient in VCE Maths (Methods, Specialist) and advanced Maths concepts.
• Experience developing educational content (e.g., practice questions, solutions, study guides).
• Familiarity with VCAA study design and examination standards.
• Strong problem-solving and excellent communication skills.
• Skilled in using digital tools like Microsoft Word or LaTeX for content creation.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Enthusiastic about mentoring students and fostering academic growth.
• Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
