As a core member of our Investor Relations team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Position Overview:
The Vice President (“VP”) focusing on APAC and EMEA region will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the KYC AML team. This involves overseeing the operation of the group day-to-day; amongst other tasks ensuring SLAs are adhered to; maintaining procedures and training; handling escalations in addition to internal and external meeting as required.The role will involve ongoing interactions with the local office and the wider KYC AML team. This role requires strong regulatory knowledge and an appreciation of operational best practice.
Your Role:
- You will demonstrate an ability to take on a multi-faceted role, leading and managing AML/CDD teams in two locations in the delivery of a high-quality service to our clients.
- You will coach, develop and provide guidance to VPs and wider team while creating an environment that motivates, rewards, and supports the team.
- You will successfully drive the execution of our offshore AML/KYC service strategy.
- You will serve as a point of escalation for teams and clients on matters related to AML/KYC requirements for all applicable policies
- You will play a key part in global and local initiatives interacting with other Citco global AML/KYC offices.
- You will communicate Citco’s organizational vision and goals to teams in addition to reviewing department goals within department.
- You will provide oversight to VPs ensuring day-to-day operations are completed accurately, timely and mitigate against risk.
- You will support the teams to ensure projects are scoped, planned and optimally executed.
- You will encourage teams to be proactive in identifying potential issues and escalated where appropriate.
- You will maintain a thorough understanding of Citco systems and remain apprised of regulations across multiple jurisdictions (incl but not limited to Cayman, EU, U.S.).
- You will develop strong working relationships with lead office counterparts.
- You will interact directly with AML/KYC senior business management in a decision-making capacity.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics or comparable regulatory experience in a global administrator.
- You have at least 8+ years’ experience in AML KYC from a similar business with Private Equity and/or Hedge Funds functions.
- You have at least 6+ years’ experience in managing a team (10-15 employees/team).
- Excellent knowledge of AML KYC Regulations; Cayman, EU and US expertise preferable.
- Superior knowledge of AML KYC risk management framework.
- Understanding of the Transfer Agency business and client servicing.
- Knowledge of regulations impacting the financial services.
- Compliance or other relevant qualification an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership experience coupled with superior communication skills
- You must display an active interest in the financial markets, hedge fund and private equity industry.
- You are highly collaborative, innovative, and have effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- You are amenable to work in our Makati Office (OneAyala Corporate Center).
- You are amenable to working in a Hybrid set up (2-3 days' onsite per week).
- You are amenable to work on a shifting schedule (willing to work Night shift, 10PM onwards).
