JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced and objective Internal Auditor to help improve company operations through effective risk management, internal controls, and audit procedures. The role involves reviewing financial and operational processes, analyzing large amounts of data, and identifying issues, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
The successful candidate should have strong audit and accounting knowledge, experience handling financial data and reconciliations, and the ability to provide practical recommendations to management.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare audit working papers and supporting schedules for various accounts such as Cash, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Property and Equipment (PPE), Inventory, and other financial accounts
- Perform inventory audits, stock counts, and reconciliation
- Prepare, review and analyze bank reconciliations, cash transactions, and related supporting documents
- Analyze large volumes of financial and operational data to identify discrepancies, unusual transactions, and process improvement opportunities
- Prepare audit findings reports, document observations, and provide recommendations to improve internal controls and operations
- Monitor and follow up management actions on audit findings
- Coordinate with different departments regarding audit concerns and improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Internal Audit, Management Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or related course
- At least 1–2 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, accounting, or finance
- Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting procedures
- Experience in handling large financial data and reconciliations
- Experience in bank reconciliation and inventory audit is an advantage
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized
- Good communication and report-writing skills
- Able to work independently and handle confidential information professionally
- CPA or audit-related certification is an advantage but not required
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible 8-hour schedule
