About the role
R-II Builders Inc. is seeking an experienced Planner / Scheduler to join our dynamic Construction team. As a Planner / Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of our construction projects. This is a full-time position based in Manila City, Metro Manila.
What you'll be doing- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to track progress and identify potential bottlenecks
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to align schedules and optimise resource utilisation
- Monitor project activities and proactively identify and manage risks and issues that could impact the schedule
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to the project team and management
- Assist in the planning and coordination of construction activities to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
- Continuously look for ways to improve planning and scheduling processes to enhance overall project delivery
- a P6 Planner/Scheduler plays a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications, by effectively planning, coordinating, and controlling project schedules and resources.
- Proven experience as a Planner / Scheduler in the construction industry, preferably in the Philippines
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, critical path analysis, and resource management
- Proficiency in using project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
