Job Summary
The Accounting Assistant will support the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records, processing business transactions, and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger. This role involves routine bookkeeping tasks, organizing financial documents, and assisting in day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities- Record and verify daily business transactions in the general ledger
- Prepare and maintain daily worksheets and financial reports
- Perform routine bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks
- Organize and maintain a systematic filing system for financial documents
- Assist in preparing tax-related documents and reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with other departments for financial data and documentation
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP or equivalent) for data entry and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Graduate of BS Accountancy or equivalent
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
- Knowledgeable in general accounting principles and basic taxation
- Proficient in SAP or other accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time management skills
