Electrical Engineer

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Under the leadership of the MEPFS Manager and guidance from MEPFS supervisor, the ELECTRICAL Engineer will be providing supervision and monitoring of all MPFS aspect of the project including manpower activities, documentation and progress report making sure that flow of work are aligned to schedule and standard procedure considering different scope of works.

• General supervision of all MPFS aspects of the project (execution-all scope, safety, quality, documentation and others.)
• Day to day supervision of site ELECTRICAL activities.
• Thorough review and interpretation of ELECTRICAL plans prior to implementation.
• Accurate and timely setting out MPFS works.
• Ensures that site implementation procedures for ELECTRICAL are being followed.
• Timely handover of works without outstanding defects

.•Providing technical knowledge and propose solutions on problems that may arise on site from time to time

.•Preparation of various reports to ensure smooth project flow, planning and reporting

.•Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

• Coordinate with other departments within the company as necessary.
• Ensure that all ELECTRICAL works done on site are done in accordance to quality standards

.•Organized safekeeping of department documents

Quality Control:

1. Performs tests and inspections for ELECTRICAL works necessary to achieve the quality of construction required by the drawings and specifications for all works under contract.
2. Carry out inspection and checking of all quality related procedures for MPFS works on site and ensures that activities performed on site are per approved method statement and inspection plan.
3. Coordinate with consultant's representative for inspection and discussion about quality problems including closure of non compliance reports.
4. Checking the quality and workmanship of ELECTRICAL works done on site.
