Job Summary:
This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing IT Services Provider. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior IT Project Coordinator to join our dynamic IT team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing various IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.The successful candidate will excel at collaborating across teams to drive clear resolutions for customers and will have expert communication skills.
The main responsibilities of a SENIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR include:
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and required resources.
- Facilitate all phases of project management from initiation through closing, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including customers, team members, and senior management.
- Effectively communicate and manage expectations, updates, and risks, and manage stakeholder engagement throughout the life of the contract.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction, support, and mentorship.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop risk management plans and strategies to ensure potential issues are addressed proactively.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure that services and deliverables meet the highest standards of excellence and align with organizational requirements.
- Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability. Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management or coordination.
- Prior experience working with a service management system, like Service Now
- Proven experience managing projects in Microsoft Project, JIRA, SmartSheet, or similar types of project management software
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Highly organized and detailed oriented
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Prior experience working with a Managed Services or IT Services provider
- Prior experience managing IT projects
- Background knowledge of IT Networking, Storage, Compute, or Database systems
- Flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
- ITIL knowledge and international experience a plus.
- Passion for learning new technologies.
