Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary:

• To perform assigned tasks related to quality assurance, in all of its phases or stages.
• Assigned activities in conformance to integrated management system requirements.
• Perform other activities which may be required as need arises provided he/she is qualified for these activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Test case implementation
• Test case update / Test case creation
• Test result reporting
• Problem reporting and isolation
• Problem Tracking/Monitoring
• Project status reporting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience with MATLAB is a plus
• Know how to read codes
• Experience in coding
• Should be familiar with Windows Operating System
• Can work with a team
• Patient, organized and have keen attention to details
• Easily trained
• English proficient and can express his or herself well
• Can do overtime work anytime even on weekends whenever necessary
• Can work under pressure
• Knowledgeable in using Lotus Notes and MS Outlook is an advantage.
