Jr. Land Development Engineer

About the role

Overseeing the construction site for land development subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.

• Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of land development contractors and utility service providers.
• Monitor accomplishment, actual contractor manpower, delivery of materials and proper usage of heavy equipment/other tools used in land development.
• Prepare accomplishment reports.
• Prepare the progress billing requests based on the completion under a billing scheme.
• Liaise and coordinate with water utility providers, power utility providers, consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Liaise with local government units regarding mandatory government requirements.
• Assess and evaluate contractor performance and prepare reports.
• Perform related duties i.e. supervision and inspection of special projects as assigned.
• Witness all testing of land development works (Field Density Testing (FDT) for layer by layer compaction for embankment, tensile testing for rebars to be used, Geo resistivity test of deep well, concrete sampling and testing for compressive/flexural.
• Check and supervise concreting works to maintain concrete consistency while pouring..

• Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geodetic Engineering or any related field
• Professional Licensed is an advantage
• With at least three (3) years of related working experience with a strong focus on land development and site engineering
• Experience in residential condominiums and housing projects
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD and other design software
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and management skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Willing to start as soon as possible
