Part-Time College Instructor - Mathematics

Job Summary
We are seeking passionate, industry-driven, and student-centered Mathematics Instructors to join our academic team. The Part-Time Mathematics Instructor delivers engaging, learner-centered instruction that develops students' mathematical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills through practical and real-world applications.
The role teaches the following subjects:
- Mathematics in the Modern World
- Linear Algebra
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- With experience in engineering, data analytics, data science, statistics, actuarial science, finance, software development, operations research, quantitative analysis, or other mathematics-intensive roles
- Strong foundation in algebra, mathematical reasoning, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts in a practical, engaging, and learner-friendly manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online learning platforms
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Passion for mentoring college students and promoting mathematical literacy
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, learning materials, and classroom activities aligned with the curriculum
- Teach mathematical concepts through practical applications and real-world scenarios to enhance student understanding
- Facilitate discussions, collaborative learning activities, and problem-solving exercises that strengthen students' analytical and quantitative reasoning skills
- Monitor student performance and provide timely coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment
- Participate in academic meetings, school activities, and faculty development programs as needed
