We are seeking a qualified Physical Facilities Management Officer to oversee and manage the school’s physical infrastructure and grounds.

Functions to perform:

  • Formulates objectives, plans and policies for his/her department in consonance with the school's vision-mission, goals and objectives, and submits the same to the Principal for approval prior to implementation;
  • Gives orientation program to all maintenance and security personnel regarding the philosophy , goals and objectives of the institution and those of the division;
  • Formulates and reviews guidelines on traffic management inside the school campus and fetching of students;
  • Directs the conduct of regular fire/earthquake drills;
  • Responsible for the direct coordination and integration of a comprehensive program for the school services;
  • Meets regularly with his/her staff to evaluate school services;
  • Submits proposals for the improvement and expansion of general school services as may be required to adequately meet the needs of students;
  • Evaluates all the phases of the programs of the school services, the result of which is periodically reported in writing to the Principal;
  • Communicates to all administrators and personnel the pertinent polices concerning the physical plant;
  • Keep records of the blueprints and specifications of the school building and counterchecks them through daily rounds conducted by the assigned security;
  • Prepares periodic reports to the Principal on the progress and development of the school services;
  • Coordinates projects involving substantial capital development for the Physical Plant;
  • Maintains a harmonious relationship with other institution for non-academic affairs;
  • Supervises and evaluates the performance of his/her staff, maintenance and security personnel; and
  • Performs other related tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Building Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in facility or building maintenance, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of school safety protocols, building codes, and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate multiple tasks effectively.
  • Working knowledge of facility management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Can work in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.
  • Available to work immediately.
