Assistant general manager

Job Description

• Assist the General Manager in planning, directing, and overseeing company operations.
• Support in developing and executing business strategies to achieve short- and long-term goals.
• Supervise department heads and ensure all teams meet performance and productivity standards.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost control measures.
• Oversee company policies, procedures, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for business growth, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
• Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and business dealings when required.
• Prepare reports and provide recommendations to support executive decision-making.
• Lead employee engagement, training, and performance management initiatives.
• Act as the General Manager in his/her absence.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin both verbal and written
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
