Lead Property Engineer - Bristol (Licensed Electrical)

Job Summary

The role supports the Property Manager in maintaining the property's operational excellence through preventive maintenance, contractor management, technical inspections, and compliance monitoring.

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of building equipment and facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure building systems are operating safely and efficiently.
• Supervise and evaluate maintenance personnel and third-party contractors.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules.
• Prepare maintenance reports, equipment uptime reports, and technical documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of engineering budgets and operating expenses.
• Respond to tenant and resident concerns related to engineering and maintenance issues.
• Ensure proper maintenance of fire protection, safety, and emergency systems.
• Assist in securing permits, licenses, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Review and evaluate renovation, fit-out, and construction plans submitted by tenants.
• Monitor contractor works and ensure compliance with building standards and specifications.
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and monitor utility consumption.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Licensed Engineer is preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in property management, building operations, or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, building systems, and construction/fit-out works.
• Familiarity with fire protection systems, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills.
• Experience in condominium, commercial, office, or mixed-use property management is an advantage.
