CONVEYANCING PARALEGAL POSITION OVERVIEW

The Conveyancing Paralegal handles all paralegal tasks like answering phone calls, emailing correspondences, execute written and verbal instructions, and any other specialized business service as required by maintaining high quality of work under rigorous pressure and meet set deadlines.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Answering phone calls, taking messages, and routing calls to the appropriate individuals.
  • Responding to emails, correspondence, and inquiries.
  • Preparing contract of sale and other documents.
  • Entering and maintaining data in spreadsheets, databases, and other systems.
  • Generating reports and summaries from data as needed.
  • Ensure all documentation required is prepared and delivered within established deadlines.
  • Preparation of meetings and ensuring that everyone is well prepared with all relevant documents and information in conducting meetings
  • Any other task/duty as directed by client/management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s College Degree
  • Must-Have: Higher paralegal level in the legal field especially Australia, even better in conveyancing.
  • Experience with any of the following conveyancing software—Actionstep, Leap, PEXA, or Tri-Convey—is highly preferable.
  • Experience in recovering outstanding debts specifically through phone communication, is highly preferable.
  • Relevant experience in data entry and file maintenance, transcription, delivering customer service, report collation, and writing.
  • Must have strong attention to detail, can work well under pressure.
  • Has excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Degree qualified, Exposure to AU Paralegal.
  • Ability to be flexible to changing demands and challenges and exercise initiative.
