Accounting & Finance Manager

SUMMARY:

As the Accounting & Finance Manager at InsurePlus General Insurance Agency, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of its accounting records. This is a full-time position based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, and present them to senior management
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure financial reporting and compliance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a valid CPA license
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting or finance role, preferably in the insurance industry
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of leading and developing a team of accounting professionals
