What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a results-driven Category Operations Manager to own the commercial performance of our beauty portfolio. This role is responsible for developing and executing data-driven strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and market share across all channels for offline.
- Strategy & P&L Ownership: Develop and execute the category strategy, setting sales targets and growth roadmaps. A core responsibility is managing the category's P&L, including revenue, gross margin, and profitability, while maximizing sales performance and margin mix.
- Market & Consumer Analysis: Lead market research to identify emerging consumer trends, new ingredients, and product innovation opportunities to shape strategic priorities and identify white spaces for growth.
- Assortment & Supplier Management: Optimize the product mix by sourcing new products, managing supplier negotiations, and overseeing product lifecycle from launch to phase-out, ensuring alignment with brand and business targets.
- Cross-functional & Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations, including inventory planning, pricing, and promotional effectiveness, while collaborating with supply chain, marketing, sales, and e-commerce teams for seamless execution and on-time product availability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. An MBA is strongly preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in category management, product management, or buying, ideally within the beauty, skincare, FMCG, or D2C sector.
- Proven track record of managing a P&L and driving category growth with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities, coupled with negotiation, communication, presentation, and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel).
- Must be a self-starter, team player, and possess a strong passion for the beauty industry, including an understanding of skincare formulations, ingredients, and regulatory basics.
- Amenable to work onsite in BGC, Taguig.
