Data Engineer
The Role
As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our business. You'll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to ensure our data is clean, accessible, and ready for analysis.Your work will directly impact our ability to make data-driven decisions and deliver value to our customers.
What You'll Do- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform large datasets from various sources.
- Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes using modern technologies.
- Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering trends and technologies.
- You have 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- You're proficient in a programming language like Python.
- You have hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- You're an expert in SQL and can write complex queries.
- You're familiar with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- You have a strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
- You're a great problem-solver and have excellent communication skills.
