Financial Planning & Analysis Associate

• The Financial Planning & Analysis Associate is responsible for assisting in performing analysis and reporting of company wide financial performance. He/She is also responsible for assisting in providing Management with sufficient information (i.e. forecasts, cost benefit analysis, trends) on the company’s financial performance and providing relevant updates on economic conditions which can affect the future business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in consolidation, reporting, and analysis of the company’s financial results
• Assist in process improvement projects
• Collaborate with business units to review monthly performance and identify risks and opportunities
• Convert key financial and operating data into strategic and value-added recommendations to support Management in making strategic business decisions
• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting
• Gather information and build financial models in preparing a summary of operating profit and loss statements, etc. on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
• Work closely with business unit leaders on developing short-term forecasts, long-term strategic plans, annual budgets and operational analysis and reporting
• Support business units in analyzing and understanding their financial data
• Ensure the accuracy of data and quality of analysis and recommendations
• Ensure timely submission of reports
• Ensure proper safekeeping of reports and data
• Research and keep abreast of trends or developments in the field of financial analysis and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the company’s financial reporting and analysis.

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or other similar courses.
• Experience in the same role is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite applications
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to deliver results with minimal supervision
• Organized and has great attention to detail
• Adaptable and can handle high pressure situations
• Works and communicates effectively with a team
