Head, Data Science and Analytics

• Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to identify opportunities, frame business problems into analytical solutions, and drive model development, validation, and implementation.
• Manage the release and versioning of models, ensuring they are continuously updated in response to evolving data and portfolio dynamics.
• Monitor model performance and recalibrate as needed to maintain accuracy and relevance.
• Drive portfolio analysis and recommend strategies to optimize credit decisioning, improve profitability, and manage risk effectively.
• Design and propose testing programs and initiatives aimed at improving credit productivity, approval rates, and acquisition quality.
• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to support the organization's strategic goals and overall business direction.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA is an advantage.
• Strong background in banking analytics, particularly in credit risk, customer acquisition, credit lifecycle management, and collections.
• Proven experience in model development, calibration, validation, and performance monitoring.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of credit strategy and business performance metrics.
• Proficient in programming and analytical tools such as R, Python, SQL, SAS, Power BI, Qlik, and Excel; familiarity with machine learning and AI platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to manage high-performing technical teams.
