• Assess credit applications
• Recommend applications for approval and decline
• Submit credit applications
• Order and check valuations, credit files and credit assessment calculations
• Monitor service level agreements
• Process loans to meet contract deadlines
• Coordinate with the Sydney-based Credit team regarding issues/progress
• Check data encoded by pre-credit staff
• Input and update data in the systems
• Answer credit related enquiries
• Adhere to KPIs
• Perform ad hoc tasks as deemed necessary by Management
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
• Able to work well under pressure
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Good Attention to detail;
• Excellent Analytical skills;
• Have knowledge-sharing mentality
• Preferably with an Australian mortgage background
• Preferably with at least 1 year of working experience in the related field
• Preferably with understanding of post-settlement operational workflow preferred (e.g. Loan variations)
