Oncology Product Specialist

Location: North Luzon, Metro Manila, Quezon City, Cebu, Davao

Position Overview:

The Oncology Product Specialist is responsible for promoting our portfolio of oncology products and driving sales within their designated territory. This role involves extensive interaction with healthcare professionals, including oncologists, haematologists, urologists and key opinion leaders (KOLs), to ensure the effective communication of product information and the establishment of strong professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Promotion:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets or more.
  • Promote oncology products to healthcare providers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Highlight the bioequivalence of products to originators.
  • Increase market penetration by identifying underserved markets.
  • Conduct product presentations and provide detailed product information.
  • Implement marketing strategies to achieve business goals.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Address the needs of healthcare professionals through regular meetings.
  • Facilitate educational sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Provide up-to-date scientific and clinical information.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from healthcare professionals.

Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights to marketing and product development teams.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align strategies.
  • Ensure a reliable supply of oncology products, by monitoring inventory at distributors and channel partners.
  • Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and market intelligence.
  • Adhere to ethical codes of pharmaceutical promotion.
  • Regularly updating of Calls in CRM
  • Completing all admin works within timeline

Qualifications for the Role:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, MS) are preferred but not required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 2 years in oncology sales preferred but not required.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful relationships with KOLs in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Experience in managing and executing territory business plans.
  • Ability to self-initiate activities without constant supervision.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of oncology market and products, as well as awareness of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Analytical skills to identify market trends.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other digital tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong fluency in both English and Tahalog.

Location and Travel:

This position will be based out of Metro Cebu, Philippines, and requires required travel within the assigned territory to meet with healthcare professionals and attend relevant conferences and meetings, adhering to the daily average customer calls.
