Reports to : Payroll & Billing Manager

Introduction / Job Summary

This includes collaborating with Operations, addressing payroll and billing-related queries, and ensuring confidentiality while staying updated on regulatory changes.

• Obtain, review and ensure timesheets are duly authorised and submitted in a timely manner
• Compute and process monthly payroll ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Process expense reports of contractors including payments
• Generate sales invoices and collate supporting documents to be billed to clients and intercompany
• Generate reports and perform reconciliations as required for payroll purposes

• Participate in all aspects of the accounting function, like posting monthly vendor invoices
• Serve as the primary contact for billing-related inquiries and client communications
• Address client concerns promptly and effectively with strong customer orientation
• Ensure that Purchase Orders include appropriate approvals for all purchases and payments.
• Participate in all aspects of the accounting function, like posting monthly vendor invoices and staff claims into the Accounting system and making cash payments via the online banking platform.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to answer queries and resolve issues.

• A degree in Finance, Accountancy or other related field
• At least 5 years of experience in doing payroll, accounting or a similar role for APAC countries
• Billing experience can be minimal but would be an advantage
• Working knowledge in statutory regulations/filings for Payroll (tax filings, social contributions, etc.)
• Extensive experience dealing with APAC markets and regional business practices
• International exposure with ability to work across different time zones and cultural contexts
• Strong with Microsoft excel skills and familiarity with accounting software will be advantage
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Business level proficiency in written and oral communication skills in English (Chinese would be an advantage, not essential[EA1] )
• Hands-on, meticulous, and able to handle a high volume of headcount.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on multiple issues and priorities simultaneously.
