R&D Officer - SAP

• Perform in-line validation of product formulations by cross-checking data between actual production, SAP entries, and FMPS (Finished Material Product Specifications) documents.
• Ensure consistency and integrity of product data across all systems and documentation platforms.
• Control, organize, and maintain R&D documents and records, ensuring proper versioning, traceability, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, and other relevant departments to resolve discrepancies in formulations and system data.
• Support product development and improvement activities by ensuring accurate SAP data setup and documentation.
• Conduct periodic audits of SAP entries and R&D records to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements related to product formulation and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science &/or Technology, Nutrition, Biology/Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other related science courses;
• With knowledge or background on statutory and regulatory requirements, GMP/PRP, HACCP, ISO 22000 and 9001, FSSC;
• Knowledge on local and international food standards (e.g. PNS, CODEX ALIMENTARIUS, CFR, etc.);
• Experience in the bakery industry is advantage;
• Experience in SAP / BOM Management is required;
• Above average documentation skills;
• Sharp attention to detail;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision;
• Basic knowledge in MS Office;
• Strong analytical skills.
