Position Title: HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN AND PROCUREMENT- To lead and optimize supply chain and procurement strategies that drive commercial success and deliver a competitive advantage through innovative, sustainable solutions while ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy
- Cost Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize costs while maximizing product availability across the supply chain
- Sustainable Practices: Develop and promote sustainable supply chain solutions that align with corporate social responsibility goals
- Team Direction and Strategy Alignment: Provide clear direction to supply chain and procurement departments to ensure that strategies are integrated with the overall business objectives
- Must have over a sustained period of (2 to 4 years) has demonstrated success in a setting direction and increasing business performance through procurement, above the market and in the market.
- Has demonstrated the ability to successfully manage and guide people through tough situations e.g. downsizing, turning around, restructuring
- Has demonstrated turning threats into opportunities e.g delivering competitive advantage in tight supply markets.
